What a cyclist
feels.
No tool can fully replicate the sensations of a real ride.
That is why every Limar helmet is designed around what cyclists actually experience on the road:
comfort, fit, lightness and performance, understood not simply as technical specifications,
but as qualities that can only be truly felt in motion.

Designed around the rider.

Designed for Cycling
Since 1986, Limar has been shaping the evolution of cycling helmets through a clear and consistent vision: creating products where protection, performance and design exist in perfect balance.
Born in Italy as a specialist helmet brand, Limar built its identity around technical innovation, lightweight construction and a deep culture of rider protection.
Today, engineering precision and Italian design come together in every helmet, transforming technology into something natural, intuitive and inspiring.

Our Purpose
At Limar, we believe cycling is more than movement. It is freedom, identity and self-expression.
Our purpose is to design helmets that go beyond protection: light, aerodynamic and high-performing products in which safety, comfort and style coexist in a precise balance.
Innovation is always guided by a human perspective. Every Limar helmet is designed to inspire confidence and strengthen the connection between rider and bike.

Innovation with
a human perspective
Research at Limar begins with a clear objective: improving the way a helmet protects, performs and feels on the rider.
Through advanced analysis, material research, prototyping and real-world testing, our Research & Development team transforms technical complexity into tangible benefits: better ventilation, greater comfort, lower weight and improved aerodynamic performance.
Innovation is never an end in itself. It must make every ride safer, more natural and more enjoyable.

CarbonCoreTech
CarbonCoreTech combines the structural qualities of carbon with expanded polystyrene to create a lightweight core engineered for maximum strength.
Two structural wings connect with the longitudinal ribs of the shell, creating a high-performance structure designed to improve protection, aerodynamics and ventilation while keeping weight to a minimum.

The science
of lightness
Lightness is not the result of a single material or technology. It comes from the balance between material research, advanced molding processes, structural design and decades of experience.
Limar was among the pioneers of in-mold construction and continues to refine the relationship between weight, density and impact absorption.
The result is a helmet in which protection, comfort and performance work together without unnecessary weight.

Design is not
simply shape
For Limar, design means creating a helmet that feels as good as it performs, combining protection, comfort, ventilation and aerodynamics within a distinctive form.
Advanced tools such as CFD analysis work alongside prototyping expertise, craftsmanship and real-world testing throughout every stage of development.
At the centre of the process is always the rider. Because a successful design does more than look right: it inspires confidence and makes the connection between rider and bike feel instinctive and natural.
Brand values
01. Italian Design & Identity
Pair text with an image to focus on your chosen product, collection, or blog post. Add details on availability, style, or even provide a review.
02. Performance-Driven Innovation
Research, testing and the experience gained in WorldTour competition guide every development choice, from top-level racing helmets to everyday commuting. We continuously explore new technical solutions to improve the comfort, protection and efficiency of our helmets.
03. Lightness, Comfort & Protection
Protection should make you feel free and safe. Guided by this belief, we work to develop lightweight helmets, effective ventilation systems and ergonomic shapes designed to maximize comfort without compromising safety.
04. Style with Purpose
For us, style is a refined combination of design clarity, balance and function. Everyline, every surface and constructive detail exists for a precise reason, giving rise to modern, safe helmets that stand out with elegance and style.
